New Four-Part Documentary, MY GRANDPARENTS’ WAR, comes to PBS in April
Leslie Norman (executive producer) introduced critics to MY GRANDPARENTS’ WAR, emotional and deeply personal accounts from the grandparents of four celebrity actors, Helena Bonham Carter, Mark Rylance, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Carey Mulligan.
In the series, they share acts of heroism, family secrets, permanent scars — and ultimately of understanding and reconciliation with the past.
The new four-part documentary, exploring extraordinary life and death decisions faced during World War II, premieres April 4, 11, 18 and 25.
Tom Anstiss, executive producer joined Helena Bonham Carter and Mark Rylance to discuss the project with critics.
